Gen XYZ is an AI-driven photo series that imagines a green-blue hued future world filtered through the nostalgia of early digital culture. The imagery draws from Y2K aesthetics inspired by PlayStation and Motorola Razr magazine ads, along with the glossy optimism of turn-of-the-millennium tech. It all exists in an alternate-reality retro future that never actually happened.

Across the series, familiar devices appear slightly off with buttons that lead nowhere, impossible hinges, and screens that fold in ways no engineer would allow. These “beautiful accidents” come from the AI’s imperfect memory of iconic industrial design. In getting the details wrong, it invents new classics that feel both recognizable and alien, freed from the need to function. The result is a dreamlike catalog of ambiguous, speculative technology that captures the future as imagined by a generation raised on neon, noise, and the early digital frontier.
